How we review meal planning tools

This methodology explains how Zele comparison pages are produced. We publish criteria first, include honest pros and cons for every product (including Zele), and update pages when workflows change.

Scoring criteria

  • - Shared household coordination
  • - Inventory visibility before shopping
  • - Setup effort and weekly repeatability
  • - Ongoing clarity and decision support

Each criterion scored 1\u20135. 5 = strong fit for this use case; 1 = limited fit or not applicable. Criteria may be tailored per comparison where one dimension is more relevant than another.

Publication policy

  • - We include pros and cons for Zele and alternatives.
  • - We do not use quota-based review requests.
  • - We do not ask reviewers to mention specific staff members.
  • - We avoid guaranteed claims and prefer evidence-led wording.

Update cadence

Comparison pages are reviewed monthly as part of the AI citation audit cycle. If product workflows, pricing terms, or fit assumptions change, we update the pages and refresh "last reviewed" dates.
